This release fixes some big flaws: it will only check you in if you have moved some distance and we changed the place selection to try to be more accurate.
It still does not work on my Droid X. It checked me in half a dozen times over the course of about 3 hours (unacceptable, 1 checkin is sufficient) and to make it even worse... I wasn't even at the place it checked me in at!! I was a quarter mile away at another venue!!! Absolutely horrible. Uninstalled only a few short hours after installing it in the first place.
Jason, it should never check you in more than once per hour, are you sure it did it 6 times in 3 hours? Were you moving around when it did this? Also, do you have GPS turned on or are you using Network location?

ReplyDeleteThis seems like an interesting app, but comments like this gives me pause. Why doesn't your App ask for a confirmation before it checks you in?
