So we just released our latest app on the Android Market called Hopscotch. We wanted something that would check us into Foursquare (cause you're not cool unless you are Mayor of somewhere cool) without us actually having to do it ourselves (fingers get tired).
Hopscotch will check you in every so often from your phone using your current GPS coordinates, and that's all it does. Simple, but effective.
Search for "hopscotch" on your phone to get your hands on it. Best of all, it's free!
I don't find it on the android market.
ReplyDeleteHaven't tried it yet but about 6 months ago I was toying around with an idea similar to this. I probably won't use it all the time because that could get annoying/creepy, but I will turn it on when I'm going to be out partying. Now I will know exactly what bars I went to and approximately how long I was at each place. Plus, if I lose my phone and I can find bar/restaurant/taxi cab locations where my phone might be. Could be better than Google Latitude for that purpose.
ReplyDeleteIs it that hard to provide a link to the app anywhere on this post or on this site?
ReplyDeleteIf Google provided a way to do that, it would be nice, but here's a link to a third party site: If Google provided a way to do that, it would be nice, but here's a link to third party site: http://www.appbrain.com/app/hopscotch/com.appoxy.hopscotch#
